Eligibility Criteria for Bihar Public Service Commission Recruitment 2016

Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have passed Graduate Degree or equivalent from a recognized University & for more details refer notification.

Age Limit & Relaxation:
Applicants Age should be minimum 20 to 22 year and maximum 37 years for General (Male), 40 years for General (Female), OBC & EBC and 42 years for SC & ST candidates. Age relaxation only applicable for the permanent residents of Bihar.

Selection Process:
Selection of the candidates will be based on performance in the common written Written Examination followed by Personal Interview conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission.

Salary Scale:
Selected candidates will be placed in Regular Pay Scale of Rs. 9,300 – 34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/- (Post-specific) besides DA, HRA & Other allowances applicable as per Government rules.

Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay Non-refundable application fee of Rs. 200/-for SC & ST Domicile of Bihar State candidates and Rs. 650/- for All Others category candidates through State Bank of India Challan only.
